Save Big auctions claim you can buy high end merchandise through their auctions for a fraction of the cost. But they manipulate the auctions and charge you for the bids you make even when you don't get the item you bid on. What kind of an auction charges the ;oing bids as well as the "winning bid". I lost all the bids I paid for without receiving a single item. They were unresponsive when I repeatedly emailed their customer service. They are a fraud and a scam and should be shut down. Beautiful pearl jewelery....Only one item was never received ( a restaurant gift card) and they gave me a credit. I watched the site change however to a mediocre auction site with obvious manipulation on the bidding platform to milk customers for more money.....wasn't fair. I thought they were probably bought out by some foreign investor.Oh well.....so goes the world. |
