I have been ripped off for $89.00
I went to find the web address to check out products up for bid and there is no longer a "SaveBig.com" website. I am at my witts end. I purchased my first bids on 4/5/2011. My 1st look at the website I should have known that it was a scam because they had very few products and what they were selling was junk. Items like cell phone covers and head phones. I belive there were only about a dozen items on the web site repeted over and over. Does anyone have any advice on how to get my money back or how to go about filing charges against these ***. You can send suggestions to "reandvaw@***.net". Sincerely Rick

Savebig.com is a scam
hello! i just want to make as many people as posible aware of this website, that "saves u money" i don't see how after you have sign up and see the inside of it. my expirience has been the worst of my life when it comes to buy stuff online and let me tell you why: to start you have to create a account and give your credit card number, they will charge $99.00 usd for you to start bidding. with the $99.00 you will get 132 bidcredits but the amount of credits depends on the offer you get when you sign up in my case i got 20 extra credits. so i have a total of 152 credits now you are basically set up to start bidding. everytime you bid it subtracts one bidcredit from your account and the item increses 1cent in value and the countdown timer adds 10 seconds to it. in summary i had 152 times to bid and win something.i started bidding in a ipad2 for 2 hours and to make it short i spend all my bids and didnt get anything!i was pissed! 10 hours later i checked that this ipad is still in auction! and the price is 215 dollars! now let me tell you how the company makes the money! you pay 99.00 for sign up and get a total of 152 bidcredits. lets divide 99.00 into 152=.65 this means that everytime you bid is 65cents! and the item increases 1cent. the auction for this ipad ended in 250 dollars.now .65x100=65 dollars this means that for every dollar the item increases the company has make 65 dollars. the item ended in 250dollars. 250x65=16,250 this is the profit of the company for that ipad! but if you win this doesnt mean the item is yours, winning only gives you the chance to buy the item for the price it ended plus the S&H... its a complete scam! stay away!

Savebig.com riped me off
Savebig.com is bigrippoff.com. They offered me 20 free bids but left out the part about that in order to get the 20 free bids you have to buy $89 worth of bids by providing your creditcard number. And once you get billed the $89 there is no way to get your money back. They simply respond to all emails by saying that they deem the problem resolved. That since you canceled the account you do not qualify for a refund. What a rippoff. As soon as I saw that they had charged me $89 I cancelled the account to get a refund but I never recieved one.

Savebig scammed me out of items and money
This company is/was a total joke. I purchased items and never received them. I guess when it sounds too good to be true, it is! Now, you can't even reach their website so I lost. A class action lawsuit should be filed against this company to recover the numerous amounts of dollars that consumers lost due to Savebig being a scam. Disappointed that I fell for the scam and feel for the many consumers that fell into Savebig's trap. I hope that they get their punishment by a lawsuit being filed and action taken against them in the near future.

SaveBig.com - What a complete SCAM!!!!
I came across their website, and boy, was I impressed! They had all these spectacular deals, including TVs and iPods, and on top of that, they had all these spectacular endorsements, from news shows to The Doctors. I had to have a piece, so I bought 45 bids for $27. All of a sudden, it was as if their system recognized my computer's address and changed the webpage! It went from having hundreds of spectacular deals to selling the cheapest little gadgets, most marked as sold even though they were also marked as having no bidders yet! I was dumbfounded, and then I did a little more research... Usually, I am not so gullible, but the legitimate endorsements and great deals just hooked me... Anyways, this company and it's sister companies NoMoreRack and BidRack have soooo many complaints against them. Within 2 hours of signing up, I went to my bank and cancelled my card, because I read that they often charge you additional fees under the guise of offering you something free first or they overcharge you for your bids. Oddly enough, I saw 2 different webpages advertising 2 different prices for the same number of bids, as if one link led to one price but another link led to another price. I really wanted my money back, but as I had legitimately authorized the payment, I couldn't. So I decided to see where these bids would lead me. As it turns out, every once in a while, SaveBig does open an auction for something cool, in this case an iPod and a Samsung flat screen TV. I was involved in bidding wars for both items... And then, with me as the final bidder, they both went down to 1 sec! (Incidentally, the bidder that gets down to 0 seconds is supposed to win the item) The timers both froze there for at least 20 seconds, with the TV one freezing for nearly a minute. I realized I wasn't going to get my prizes! Someone else, probably one of their own employees posing as a "fellow bidder," probably "won," and I had spent all my bids. The funny thing is, as soon as I had complained and spent all my bids, their company and their sister companies stopped sending me e-mails. I didn't even get a response to my complaint about not winning my auctions, no correspondence at all to even keep up the facade of professionalism. What a SCAM! Stay away from this site!!!!!!! At one point, they may have been a good company, but they are definitely thieves now!!! I am going to report them to the BBB and any other site I possibly can. By the way, there is a story about one person who threatened to report them, sent 50 e-mails over the course of 2 days from herself, her bank, and her lawyer, and was able to get her funds reimbursed, and reported them anyway. (Sadly, my Chase bank was not nearly as helpful as that, since I had authorized the payment.)

Savebig is a scam. You pay they don't deliver.
I was offered free points only to be charged for them. They would not refund the money. I ordered items to get something for my money. At first the items were received, I paid auction won amount, shipping, plus the hidden cost of each bid. Very soon, I began getting "out of stock" messages. They did not refund any money paid. Instead they gave me more bids. I was out the cash paid for shipping. They had bad merchandise most of the time. Good merchandise was always "out of stock". This is an internet scam. Wish something could be done about it.

Before You Register with Savebig.com, (cost $89.00), read and understand how Savebig works!
I registered with Savebig.com earlier today before absorbing the website. It cost me $89.00. Problem - I have been watching two items that's been posting a completion time of 19 seconds for over two hours now, and the auction still is not over. It's obvious to me that Savebig wants their items to reach a certain dollar amount before the auction ends. Most folks can't sit all day at a computer waiting for 10 seconds, when it will re-start again at 19 seconds, over and over again. Very dissappointed and out of $89.00. What kind of auction is there that never ends?

Where did Savebig.com go to?
I have over 15000 bidding points that I have paid for and the website no longer comers up. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the people who ran the website? I would like to get a refund for all of the bids that I purchased before the website closed down. I mean 15000 points is quite a bit of money to be spending and now have anything to show for it. At .60 a bid that comes to about 9 thousand bucks so you can see I would like to get my money back or at the least have someone to contact about this.

Thanks for the reviews
I found this site and thought "wow thats great" I went thru the registration process and saw all the wonderful items for VERY cheap prices. This put a red flag up but I thought I will go thru with it. After registering I got to the end and they requested my credit card number. This put up a big red flag to me so I decided to put it on hold and go read the reviews. All were negative so thanks for everyone who put this scam out there - it saved me money and prayerfully others will read the reviews like I did before giving them their credit card number. I find whenever a company asks up front for your credit card its not a good sign

Savebig.com ##$%## me!
I had 564 bids. I set the "bidbuddy' to use a maximum of 25 bids. I had the highest bid. I not only did not receive my product, I only had 73 bids left at the end of the auction. I had won products in the past and was told the supplier did not have the products and i recieved more bids. I have now sent them numerous emails and have not received any response. In fact, their web site is no longer functional. I would like to know if we all can pursue a class action law suit against them????

SaveBig ripped me off for $150.00.
Save big ripped me off for $150. This is a bidding site on items they put up for bid and you bid on them. You have to buy bids. I had put hundred and $50 in two a bank account and then I bought some bits I've been on a number of items and I had one a number of items. So when you win an item the e-mail you and tell you how much the shipping is on the item and how much it costs and you give them the bank account number and they take out the money from your account to pay for that item plus shipping. I have paid for five items and waited for them to be shipped after 12 days, nothing was shipped. So I contacted save big, and I never got a response. So checking my bank account they had taken the money out for the items I had bought and they take out money every time you log on to their account. They had gone through the hundred and $50 within it to week. And I have the bank account statement that shows all of these transactions through save big. I did not do any other transactions on this account for the whole month of November and December.

You people have to remember: IF IT LOOKS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS. Or,that old saying from P.T.
Barnum: There is a sucker born every minute.
Good bidding, probably have better luck on the lotto.
so if just took the money you are willing to lose to get a deal and apply it to a ligetament sale you will be better off then *** away hundreds of dollars hopeing this time you will win a chance to purchase the item at the winning price. So if i bid 200 on a 600 ipad 3 times win the last bid for 200 i have spent 600 and know get to purchase the ipad for the 200 plus s/h?
so now at 800 plus s/h.
Awesome deal.
this guy can barely speak English, does he understand anything. NO credibility!!!
i honestly give a *** what you think. im sure after reading this; you didnt sign up. i hope my english was CLEAR enough this time.
Thank goodness I googled this website before signing up, i was about to buy several rolex watches, but something kept telling me this is too good to be true......and looks like it is!
Come on guys!! Its not exactly a scam...
Its a penny action. Thats how they work. so even though the company might profit bigtime you also might win the action for only 100 dollars worth of bids. So even though lots of other people lose their money, you MIGHT win depending on how many are bidding aginst you, so you could still get a good deal.
It's the NEW GAMBLING. Age of the GEEK!
like savebig suck lols rofl they like take ur moneys without askingg
Thanks...like many others I was just about to sign up...not now though.
Thanks for the info. I was just about to finish signing up when I thought if is sounds too good to be true, it always is.
Especially with electronics. Thanks again!
As like everyone else, I thank you for spelling this out for me. I was double checking this sight via Norton and found your post. I was half way done with registering and was about to input my cc info.
Thank you again.
